Estate Jewelry? What?

For more than 30 years, Maxon's has been an active buyer and seller of estate jewelry.
Estate jewelry simply means previously owned. The better pieces go in our estate collection and the rest goes in multiple directions...but that's for another blog.
The part of the estate business that really winds my clock is dealing with the 'period pieces,' jewelry constructed and styled in a specific fashion-historic manner. "Antique" is the word that comes to mind when viewing such pieces.
Victorian, Edwardian, Art Deco...all periods and styles I love adding to our collection. We have estate case regulars that show up on a regular basis to see what's new in our ever-evolving collection. Only pieces of greater quality, and in exceptional condition, fit our collection.
Estate pieces are the really cool pieces; not the 'cookie cutter' mall or big box store jewelry. Estate pieces were forged by old world craftsmen and are often one-of-a-kind.
You owe it to yourself to step back in time for just a bit, seeing what's new in our old collection. Each piece, after all, has its own story.
