I was being interviewed for a local lifestyle magazine today, and the reporter asked me what all of the buzz was about Hearts on Fire diamonds. A lady came in today asking to speak with Jay Casey, our goldsmith. She had a beautiful Art Deco period diamond ring that she had taken elsewhere for repair. The well meaning technician had clearly been in over his head for the technique and equipment needed for such a repair and let us say that the results were less than acceptable.
